In the last few weeks we have had the opportunity to make some new friends. We were blessed beyond measure to enjoy lunch with veteran missionaries Matt and Lisa Befus at their Christian school, La Palabra de Vida, near the SJO airport. After 25 years of leading the school, Matt and Lisa are transitioning to a new role within the United World Mission agency. Our lunch was to discuss the state of the church in Costa Rica. Please join us in praying for them in their time of transition.
We also had a visit from Olivia and Allison. They served a week at the children’s home, Hogar de Vida. Olivia is the daughter of longtime donors and friends who came for a visit last year.
It is a blessing any time young people give their time to serve the Lord. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to get to know these sweet ladies.
