A New Day Is “Awning”

That’s right, I meant “awning.” Thanks to Pastor Oscar and Erick Gonzalez (from Grecia, Costa Rica), and our friends Ray and Sam (from Matrix Ministries in Texas), The Brook Training Center has a new awning over the office. It’s a necessary addition! The glass doors face due east, making it impossible to work for the first three hours past sunrise. And since those are my best hours, this will give me much needed relief. Thanks guys for a great install!

A New Partnership

In August 2017, I crossed paths with a professional coach and consultant who was interested in helping pastors who ministered not only in the USA, but in Costa Rica as well. My new friend, Daniel Mueller, would eventually invite me on to the Board of Advisers of SOLIDpastors. And though the relationship is young, the passion for helping pastors is ageless and heartfelt.

The day after Christmas, Angela and I were blessed to finally meet Daniel and his wife, Patty, while they were in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. We look forward to many years serving side-by-side helping pastors to be their best for the Lord.

Research on Pastoral Training

In just a few days we will be meeting with ten of the top formal and non-formal pastor training leaders in Costa Rica. They are coming together to assist in my research into pastoral training and education. I’m so grateful for the Kingdom spirit which exists between so many different organizations, including top seminaries, pastor training ministries, and denominations. Lord willing, the results of this study will help pastoral training efforts in Costa Rica, Latin America, and beyond.
