After surviving a difficult November, we have been blessed by a somewhat restful December.
- We’ve had Sunday speaking engagements at two different churches, as well as at our regular Wednesday Bible study.
- We transitioned The Brook from unreliable cable-based Internet to Starlink from SpaceX and are now enjoying 100% uptime.
- Steve completed an online post-grad course on Intercultural Communication at Dallas Theological Seminary.
- Angela has been in baking mode creating holiday gifts for several local families (and an amazing sourdough for us)!
- Funds were provided to meet needs at two different churches, as well as the other ministries that we regularly support in Costa Rica.
But above all, we have been preparing for 2025. We are expecting visits from Matrix Ministries, as well as from several of the churches who have come in the past. Some church development projects are already lined up and funded.
In addition, we will be making some more improvements at The Brook. We have a bathroom remodel upstairs and Lord willing we will finally re-wire all the electrical on the property.
Pastoral training will continue to be at the heart of what we do, including seminary scholarships and providing resources for ministry professionals.
We want to thank all of you who provided the resources for 2024. We could not have made it without your generous support. And thanks also to those who have already given their year-end gifts this year. You have lightened our load and blessed us beyond measure.
