Not since we began The Brook Ministries in August of 2008 have I been more excited to start a new year! Just a little more than a year after our launch, in January of 2010, we hosted our first pastor training event. It was a tremendous success. Since then The Brook has been equipping pastors, strengthening churches and hosting mission teams. We have been blessed to work with hundreds of pastors and participate in the construction of buildings for nine different churches.

And now, as we look ahead to 2018, we are planning the most intense time of pastor training ever in our history. We are looking to make a significant impact with the pastors of the Association of Bible Churches in Costa Rica (AIBC).

Last Training of 2017

Last week, we had 31 pastors come to The Brook Training Center for a gathering that focused on better preaching. Steve spoke, as well as AIBC president, Luis Rodriguez. And as with previous events, Angela provided the catering, prompting many requests for her corn pudding recipe.

Kitchen Project Continues

Thanks to the generosity of our ministry partner, Matrix Ministries, we are excited to report that the kitchen project in Siquirres is continuing to be developed. As part of a dynamic church, this program feeds many of the poor and needy in the agricultural community in Eastern Costa Rica. Please pray for the work there as these generous funds are used to finish this awesome construction project.
