We have several exciting things to share as we launch into 2020!
Last month we asked for help on several items. I am amazed and still thanking God for your response. Here is what God has done through you:
- Twenty pastor training events at The Brook Training Center. Donation received for all 20 events! Praise God!
- Four outside sitting areas at The Brook Training Center. Donation received for all 4 sitting areas! Praise God!
- A team to come for a week to install the sitting areas. Matrix Ministries has agreed to lead a team from Dallas in August 2020 to install sitting areas and check out progress at Hogar de Fe! Praise God!
- New church and ministry partners. We met a pastor and his wife from a small church in Los Angeles who will be coming to visit to explore future ministry opportunities! Praise God!
- Resources for pastors. Donation received to cover all pastors! Praise God!
- Evangelism project in Grecia. Donation received to fully fund this project! Praise God!
Hogar de Fe
Hogar de Fe is an active church that ministers in one of the toughest sections of San Jose. They feed the hungry, minister to those in prison, and train women to sew to make them employable and pull themselves out of poverty.
Plus, church pastors Eli and Marta have been instrumental in partnering with The Brook Ministries in working with the indigenous tribe of the Cabecar, and in Nicaragua. The project is adding a second and third story to their land-locked church in Desamparados. (See how the project turned out.)
